During the second quarter, Besqab's net sales according to segment reporting amounted to SEK 872.6 million (928.1). Gross profit increased to SEK 166.9 million (115.9), corresponding to a gross margin of 19.1 percent (12.5). Operating profit more than doubled to SEK 112.2 million (54.6), and the operating margin rose to 12.9 percent (5.9). Profit for the quarter amounted to SEK 102.5 million (58.2).
For the first half of the year, net sales according to segment reporting amounted to SEK 1,341.4 million (1,439.6). Operating profit increased to SEK 175.4 million (84.8), corresponding to an operating margin of 13.1 percent (5.9). Profit for the period amounted to SEK 163.3 million (73.1).
During the quarter, 146 homes were sold and an additional 141 homes were reserved in projects where production had not yet started. At the end of the period, Besqab had 1,721 homes under construction, of which 65 percent were sold or reserved. Only six completed homes remained unsold.
