In the third quarter, net sales according to segment reporting amounted to SEK 651.1 million (405.0). Gross profit increased to SEK 141.1 million (77.6), corresponding to a gross margin of 21.6 percent (19.2). Operating profit rose to SEK 91.1 million (30.4), and the operating margin improved to 14.0 percent (7.5). Profit for the quarter amounted to SEK 86.4 million (30.8).
For the first nine months of the year, net sales according to segment reporting amounted to SEK 1,993.6 million (1,844.6). Operating profit increased to SEK 266.5 million (115.3), corresponding to an operating margin of 13.4 percent (6.3). Profit for the period amounted to SEK 249.5 million (104.0).
During the quarter, 147 homes were sold, compared with 94 during the corresponding period last year, and production started on 219 homes. At the end of the period, Besqab had 1,488 homes under construction, of which 56 percent were sold or reserved. Only six completed homes remained unsold.
