
In the second quarter, Sweco's net sales increased to SEK 8,567 million, compared with SEK 7,834 million in the same period last year. Organic growth was 3 percent, adjusted for calendar effects. EBITA rose to SEK 864 million from SEK 750 million, corresponding to an EBITA margin of 10.1 percent compared with 9.6 percent the previous year. Adjusted for the positive calendar effect, EBITA increased by 7 percent. Profit for the period rose to SEK 601 million from SEK 495 million.
For the first half of 2026, net sales increased to SEK 16,902 million from SEK 15,901 million. EBITA amounted to SEK 1,733 million, compared with SEK 1,651 million the previous year, corresponding to a margin of 10.3 percent.
Sweco describes demand as remaining stable compared with previous quarters, with strong demand in areas including infrastructure, water, environment and energy, as well as security and defense. During the quarter, the company also continued its acquisition agenda and strengthened its position in several priority growth areas.
