Besqab develops condominiums, own homes and housing-related products as part of larger development areas, such as retirement homes, schools and kindergartens. The company has a strong position in the Stockholm and Uppsala markets with extensive experience in creating attractive homes in well-planned areas.
At the beginning of 2024, the residential development companies Besqab and Aros merged and will continue to operate under the name Besqab. Pro forma, the net sales of the new group amounted to just over SEK 2.2 billion. Through the merger, Besqab has a building rights portfolio with more than 9,000 attractive building rights and a future potential of ongoing production volume of approximately 2,500 homes per year.
Skirner is the main owner of Besqab and the family has been owners in the company since its founding in 1989. Besqab shares are listed on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm
Skirner is the principal owner and co-founder of Sweco AB, Europe's leading consulting firm in engineering and architecture with 23,000 employees and sales of SEK 31.5 billion.
The family's and Skirner's ownership in the present Sweco dates back to 1958. The SWECO share is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm.
